SCHOOL NURSES ASSOCIATION OF NSW
The School Nurses Association of NSW in collaboration with the School Nurses of QLD are very pleased to announce this year's 2 Day Conference will be held on the Thursday 12th & Friday the 13th of July 2018 at Sea World Resort & Conference Centre on the Gold Coast.
This Conference provides delegates Continuing Professional Development (CPD) specifically for school nurses and facilitates networking opportunities with other nurses working in schools in NSW and Australia wide.
This will be the 19th Annual Conference and many of those who have recently attended our Conferences can expect the same excellent standard of speakers you have become accustomed to and the wonderful opportunities to network with others in this sometimes isolated role.

An impressive line up of speakers will be addressing relevant medical aspects of school nursing both in the acute/emergency scenario and the broader scope of more effective management of chronic conditions utilising the most up to date research and data on conditions affecting students health now and into the future. School nurses provide a unique opportunity to promote healthy practices, impart professional knowledge and share e-learning tools and resources at this vital early level of the student's development. This Association strives towards breaking down barriers and benefiting the school’s and their communities now and into the future.

INAUGURAL YOUTH HEALTH FORUM
If this sounds like you, then we want you to be involved in our Youth Health Forum. You could
be part of the group of young people who are meeting to share their views on the Australian
health and social care system.
We are seeking expressions of interest from people aged 16-30 who are interested in
our kick off Youth Health Forum in Canberra on 18-19 September 2018. Travel and
accommodation will be funded.
